PURPOSE: A video presenter used for an on-line video conference system is provided to reduce the installation cost of an on-line video conference system and prevent the degradation of images by directly transmitting the images without a computer. CONSTITUTION: A video presenter(21,22,23) comprises an image processing part(31) and a network communication part(32). The image processing part processes the light from an optical system to generate a digital image signal and outputs a first video signal converted from the digital image signal. The network communication part compresses the digital image signal from the image processing part to be transmitted to communication network and restores a compressed digital image signal from the communication network to be input to the image processing part. The image processing part converts the digital image signal compressed by the network communication part into a second video signal to be output. |
