摘要 PURPOSE: A battery inspection system is provided to inspect the mismatch between positive and negative electrode plates in a stack type battery even in a high-capacity stack type battery. CONSTITUTION: A battery inspection system comprises a radiation source(2), a positioning unit(4), a radiation detector(5), and a data processing unit(6). The positioning unit determines the location of a battery so that an electrode plate follows a radiation beam emitted from the radiation source. The radiation detector detects the radiation beam passing through the battery and outputs it as a transmission image. The data processing unit receives and processes a first transmission image and a second transmission image and detects a positioning error of the electrode plate in order to determine a failure. In the first transmission image, the radiation beam passing through a first edge portion of the electrode plate at an angle is detected. In the second transmission image, the radiation beam passing through a second edge portion of the electrode plate at an angle is detected.
