摘要 <p>8 - TRIAXIAL SEISMO-ACCELEROMETER DEVICE ABSTRACT THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A SEISMO-ACCELEROMETER DEVICE WHICH MEASURES GROUND MOVEMENTS IN THREE DIRECTIONS. SAID SEISMO-ACCELEROMETER DEVICE UTILIZE A MASS ELEMENT 5 SPATIALLY SUSPENDED AND MOVING FREELY WITHIN A FRAMEWORK WHEN GROUND MOVES. FURTHERMORE, THE PRESENT INVENTION UTILIZES MAGNETOMETER TECHNOLOGY TO DETECT MAGNETIC VARIATIONS THAT ARE GENERATED BY PERMANENT MAGNETS ATTACHED TO SAID MASS ELEMENT. THESE MAGNETIC VARIATIONS ARE CONVERTED INTO DIGITAL SIGNALS AND INTO COMPUTER READABLE SEISMOGRAMS AND ACCELEROGRAMS IN REAL-TIME. THE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR THE PURPOSES OF 10 DETECTING EARTHQUAKES AND MEASURING THE MAGNITUDE, DISTANCE AND ACTUAL GROUND ACCELERATION DUE TO EARTHQUAKES IN THREE DIMENSIONAL DIRECTIONS.
