PURPOSE: A plug connector for a flat cable is provided to prevent the connecter from being broken by improving the hardness of the connector insertion part. CONSTITUTION: An insertion part(8) is protruded to the front side of the main body part(20). An insertion part is inserted into a receptacle connector. A connection terminal(11) of a flat cable(10) is arranged on the insertion part. The connection terminal is touched with the contact of the receptacle connector. A through hole(140) is penetrated to a side edge of the main body member corresponding to the depressed groove(13). A fixing part(154) is combined with the concave part of the flat cable.
