<p>The method involves determining a target equipment (E) i.e. embarked equipment, requiring maintenance operation by a radio frequency identification unit (RFID) i.e. radio frequency identification chip, where the equipment is pertained to an assembly of potential equipments located in a same zone. The RFID unit is passive and equipped with an antenna allowing remote reading of the RFID unit. The equipment is localized by a reading unit of the identification unit of the assembly before realization of the maintenance operation so as to precisely locate the target equipment. An independent claim is also included for a system for assisting maintenance of an aircraft.</p> |
