PURPOSE: A digital broadcasting transceiver is provided to prevent a fault in AGC(Auto Gain Control) by holding AGC in an FEF(Future Extension Frame) region. CONSTITUTION: A frequency converting unit(41) converts an RF(Radio Frequency) signal of an RF AGC amplification unit(20) into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal. A first AGC detection unit(42) detects the IF signal level. An RF AGC processing unit(100) supplies a first AGC control voltage. An ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)(210) performs A/D conversion of the IF signal. An FEF(Future Extension Frame) detection unit(230) detects the FEF region in the A/D converter. The FEF detection unit controls the AGC hold in the RF AGC processing unit.
