The device has a casing (2) including two side walls (4, 10) defining a containment chamber (C). A toothed wheel (19) is arranged in the chamber and rotated around a rotational axis (A) with respect to the casing using roller bearings (14, 16) e.g. ball bearings, housed in one of the side walls. Oil retention devices (40, 42) assure lubrication of the bearings. Removable fixation elements e.g. screws, fix the retention devices on the casing. The fixation elements comprise control elements e.g. screw heads, accessible from outer side of the chamber.
