The device has maintaining rods (11) provided with abutments for maintaining a wire against supports e.g. contact plates (14, 16) after insertion of the rods in an orifice managed in the supports. The rods include intermediate knurled portions for permitting forced insertion of the rods in the supports. The rods include threaded portions engaged with locking nuts (26, 50), where height of each intermediate knurled portion is equal to thickness of each support, and height of each threaded portion is equal to thickness of each support.
