The bumper (1) has a guiding unit guiding displacement of a cover flap (2) between a top position and a bottom position, where the flap is connected to the bumper by the guiding unit. The guiding unit cooperates with steering racks (3) spaced and fixed with respect to the flap. A pinion (4) is mounted rotatingly on a fixed part of the bumper, and is meshed with each steering rack, where rotation of the pinion is controlled by an electric motor (5).
