PURPOSE:To attain the effect of elimination of a desired band of an FM signal and the effect of increase in the modulation index by providing both a half trap circuit and an equalizer circuit to a recording circuit. CONSTITUTION:The principles are utilized effectively that a peak value of an output waveform changes by inputting a rectangular wave to an equalizer circuit 3 having a characteristic shown in curve (d). In inputting an FM signal using a rectangular wave whose frequency changes in a range shown in a curve (e) of figure as a carrier to an equalizer circuit 3, an AM wave is generated at the output. Further, a phase compensating circuit 2 to give a linearity to the frequency-phase characteristic of the FM signal is provided. The effect of increase in the modulation index is attained by the AM component and a prescribed band of the FM signal is eliminated through the use of the linearity of the frequency- phase characteristic by using a half trap circuit 4. |
