PURPOSE: A visible light blocking member, an infrared sensor with the visible light blocking member, and a liquid crystal display device with the infrared sensor are provided to increase an SNR(Signal to Noise Raito) by the visible light blocking member. CONSTITUTION: An infrared sensor is located under an upper substrate(210). A readout transistor is electrically connected to the infrared sensor. An active layer(154b) is located under the upper substrate. A resistive contact layer(164b) is located under the active layer. A source electrode(173b) is located under the resistive contact layer. A drain electrode(175b) is located under the resistive contact layer. A visible light blocking member(111) is located between the upper substrate and the active layer.
