PURPOSE:To reliaze energy saving operation of cooling fan and improve reliability of cooling system and transformer operation by suspending a part of cooling fan when oil temperature of transformer is lower than a preset temperature and controlling the operable cooling fan to the head-oscillating condition when the cooling fan is partly defective. CONSTITUTION:A cooling fan control device 10 is provided. When difference between oil temperature t (or load coefficient k) of transformer and a present temperature T (or target load K) becomes as follow, T-t>alpha (or K-k>alpha) with a detected signal sent from the oil temperature detector (or load coefficient detector) 8 within the transformer 3, an operation command is issued to the fans 5-1, 5-2, 5-3 from an operation discriminator 11, such operation command is stored, each cooling fan is operated and a heat radiator 6 is cooled. When t-t<=alpha (or K-k<=alpha), the operation discriminator 11 issues the memory reset command to the fans 5-2, 5-3 in order to suspend each fan and the fan 5-2 is switched automatically to the head-oscillating operation with the head-oscillating discriminator 12. |
