摘要 <p>The method involves determining a sum of successive phase shifts introduced by switches present on an incoming path. Phase shift compensation is applied during the reception of data by a node hosting a destination application of the data. Presentation of data to the application is delayed by a destination node during the application of compensation based on the sum of phase shifts for each path followed by the data, such that total elapsed time between the data transmission by a source application and data presentation is equal when the source or destination application is common for the data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for synchronization of source and destination applications in a network for communication of data transmitted on coming paths (2) a computer program loadable into a computer system, comprising instructions to perform a method for synchronizing source and destination applications in a network (3) a removable or non removable computer medium readable by a computer or microprocessor, storing instructions of computer program to perform a method for synchronizing source and destination applications in a network.</p>
