<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method of treating emission, capable of preventing the load of its waste water treatment device from increasing even when low grade coal or the like is combusted. <P>SOLUTION: The system of treating emission comprised of a variety of treatment devices including a dust collection device 30 that treats emission coming from a boiler 10 and discharges combustion ash, each disposed in a flue extending from the boiler 10 to a smokestack 50, and of an effluent treatment device 60 that treats effluent coming out of the variety of treatment devices, is characterized by including an automatic boron meter 70 that measures specified substances present in the emission discharged from the boiler 10, and a processor 80 that raises the dust collection efficiency when the amount of a trace substance such as boron is high and reduces the same when the amount of the trace substance is low, based on the result of the measurement by the automatic boron meter 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
