<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus which can be installed in a limited space in front of a showcase or the like and facilitates cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: A display apparatus 1 has liquid crystal display panels 11a to 11c arranged in one row in a horizontal scanning direction. The liquid crystal display panels 11a to 11c constitute one virtual display region 25. A decoder 152 decodes image data 30 to create pixel data 62 for addresses corresponding to the virtual display region 25. A bridge circuit 16, on the basis of a parameter table 70 indicating a correspondence relationship between the virtual display region 25 and each of display regions of the liquid crystal display panels 11a to 11c, identifies display destinations of the pixel data 62. The pixel data 62 is stored in line buffers corresponding to the identified display destinations and is output to the liquid crystal display panels 11a to 11c.
