<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-supply control technology for regulating wasteful power consumption during start-up. <P>SOLUTION: A power-supply control board 119 controls power distribution to each unit of an operation panel 115, FAX 116, an image reading section 117, and an image forming section 118 under control of a sub CPU 105. A main CPU 109 executes a start up processing when the power is supplied via a main CPU circuit power-supply generating section 103 under the control of the sub CPU 105 after an AC switch 114 is turned on. The sub CPU 105 controls the power-supply control board 119 for controlling power distribution to each unit and controls power distribution to the main CPU circuit 108 as well by controlling the main CPU circuit power-supply generating section (DC/DC) 103, and controls the power-supply control board 119 not to supply the power to each unit after executing the start up processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
