<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter for toilet which is extremely effective for immediate deodorization of especially three major toilet odors (hydrogen sulfide odor, amine-based odor and mercaptan-based odor) among other malodorous gases, and also has a lasting deodorizing effect. <P>SOLUTION: This target deodorizing filter for toilet under study is such that it should have immediate deodorizing power to hydrogen sulfide, amine-based and mercaptan-based odors, and also a lasting deodorizing efficacy. Therefore, it is found that a metallic phthalocyanine complex, a weak alkaline metallic salt and a water-soluble copper compound can be carried by a filter base constituted of an active carbon-mixed paper which is cationized. Thus, it is possible to efficiently adsorb/decompose the three major odors by a single pass treatment, and make the deodorizing efficacy last. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
