METHOD FOR FIRING CEMENT CLINKER BY BLOWING GYPSUM FROM CLINKER DISCHARGE PORT SIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making effective use of waste gypsum board powder while adjusting the SO3content of cement clinker without using fuel having high SO3content and without discarding waste gypsum board powder as industrial waste.

SOLUTION: Gypsum is introduced into a cement burning furnace from the clinker discharge port side of the cement firing furnace. It is preferable as an introduction method that gypsum is introduced through an exclusive blowing nozzle arranged on the clinker discharge port side of a rotary kiln or gypsum is blown in the rotary kiln together with an air current through a port other than a main fuel port of a main burner. Waste gypsum board powder is used suitably as the gypsum to be used.
