<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory card allowing high-speed data transfer while maintaining compatibility with a normal host apparatus, and having small restriction on a wiring layout. <P>SOLUTION: This SD memory card 100 includes: a first pin group constituted of nine pins arranged in a line in an end part on an insertion direction side into a connector, and functioning, in a normal mode, as DAT2, DAT3, CMD, GND, Vcc, CLK, GND, DAT0, and DAT1, a part of which is used in both the normal mode and a high-speed mode; and a second pin group constituted of seven or more pins including at least two pin pairs for a differential signal, used only in the second mode, and arranged such that GND is positioned on both sides of each of the pin pairs for the differential signal. In the high-speed mode, among the respective pins constituting the first pin group, the pins functioning as DAT0 and DAT1 in the normal mode are changed to differential clock signals CLK+, CLK- and are made to function, and the functions of the remaining pins are stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
