PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potential therapeutic machine which is compact and lightweight and can easily change frequency and waveform of output voltage. SOLUTION: The potential therapeutic machine has potential generation means which generates potential higher than input voltage V1 and electrodes 4a and 4b which are brought into contact with an object to be treated and applies the potential, the potential generation means has: first pulse generation means 2a having a transformer T1 and a switching element Q1, and having a configuration intermittently applying the input voltage to the input side of the transformer T1 as the switching operation of the switching element Q1, thereby generating positive side pulse voltage P+ from voltage induced in the output side of the transformer T1, and a second pulse generation means 2b having a transformer T2 and a switching element Q2, and having a configuration intermittently applying the input voltage to the input side of the transformer T2 as the switching action of the switching element Q2, thereby generating negative side pulse voltage P- from voltage induced in the output side of the transformer T2.
