PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shrinkable film made of a polyester-based material, particularly suitable for wrap around labeling which includes direct wrapping, attachment, or fixation from a film roll without requiring a preliminary step, unlike a sleeve process which essentially requires a commonly-known width-direction heat shrinkage. SOLUTION: The polyester-based heat shrinkable film has heat shrinkage in the longitudinal direction, wherein the maximum hygrothermal shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction, when the film is soaked in silicone oil at a temperature at which the heat shrinkage is caused, for 10 seconds, is 6 to 40%, the dry heat shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction when the film is treated by hot air at 60°C for 10 seconds, is substantially 0%, and the dry heat shrinkage ratio in the longitudinal direction, when the film is treated by hot air at 70°C for 10 seconds, is 4% or below.
