PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of forming an image less in image omission even on a paper having rough surface property (rough paper). SOLUTION: The fixing device includes a plurality of nip parts composed of a pressurizing member and a counter member, and a conveyance means conveying a transfer material on which a toner is transferred to the nip parts. The toner shows a pressure-induced transformation behavior from a hard material to a soft material. The device includes a nip part FH and a nip part F1 in this order along the conveyance direction of the transfer material, in which the pressure P1 applied to the nip part F1 is less than the pressure PH applied to the nip part FH having the maximum pressure applied in the nip parts in the upstream side of the nip part F1 along the conveyance direction, and the nip width N1 at the nip part F1 exceeds the nip width NH at the nip part FH.
