PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer having a simple structure even if provided with a plurality of stirrers and capable of satisfying desired stirring conditions and to provide a stirrer driving method of the same. SOLUTION: The analyzer 1 and the stirrer driving method of the same are provided with a plurality of stirrers for stirring a liquid held in a container by acoustic waves generated by an acoustic wave generating means mounted to the container. The stirrers comprise a plurality of rated stirrers 30 and 31 having constant stirring conditions and a variable stirrer 20 of which stirring conditions can be adjusted. The analyzer 1 is provided with a control part 15 for specifying one stirrer to be driven or more according to analysis items, one or more from among the rated stirrers 30 and 31 and optionally from the variable stirrer 20 and specifying stirring conditions of the variable stirrer in case that one specified stirrer or more include the variable stirrer.
