PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out that a compound represented by general formula (1), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and a prodrug thereof have desirable properties as a result of a search for compounds having physical properties of weak cytotoxicity, and high solubility in water, the action to inhibit both of a GyrB subunit of DNA gyrase and a ParE subunit of topoisomerase IV, and sufficient antibacterial activity in order to create an antibiotic having a new mechanism of action. SOLUTION: There is provided a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound represented by the general formula (1), pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and prodrug thereof as an active ingredient (in particular, a composition for preventing or treating infectious diseases).
