PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expression-inhibiting agent for aurora kinase A and B genes comprising pyrrole-imidazole polyamide bonding to a gene base sequence of the aurora kinases A and B, and a therapeutic agent and the like, including a carcinostatic agent, for diseases related to the aurora kinases A and B. SOLUTION: The drug comprises pyrrole-imidazole polyamide comprising an N-methylpyrrole unit, an N-methylimidazole unit and aγ-aminobutyric acid unit, where the pyrrole-imidazole polyamide can be folded at a portion of theγ-aminobutyric acid unit to form a U-shaped conformation within the minor groove in the double strand region containing a part or the whole of the -100 to -70 positions in the base sequence of a human aurora kinase A promoter and a chain complementary thereto, where the Py/Im pair corresponds to the C-G base pair, the Im/Py pair corresponds to the G-C base pair and the Py/Py pair corresponds to both the A-T base pair and the T-A base pair.
