PURPOSE:To use the easy merchandise information retrieving system even at the small and medium-sized stores by linking organically the function of the maker and the wholesaler, preparing the master file for the retrieving with the low-priced and newest data and distributing them to the stores. CONSTITUTION:A maker uses the system prescribed mark sheet at the time of the first shipment of new products, prepares the input data, attaches them to the merchandise and delivers to the wholesaler. A wholesaler collects the input data attached to the new product, prepares the master file for retrieving periodically by the collective processing and distributes to the store. The store uses the purchased master file, operates the information retrieving system by the personal computer, and presents to a user as a sales promotion tool. The user uses freely the information retrieving system in front of the store, searches the desired merchandise and turns it to account for purchasing the merchandise. Thus, by preparing the master file for retrieving and distributing the file, the merchandise information retrieving system can be used even at the small and medium-sized stores. |
