ROLLED FINGERPRINT REGISTRATION/SYNTHESIS APPARATUS AND METHOD USING A BASELINE

PURPOSE: A rolled fingerprint registration/synthesis apparatus and a method thereof are provided to synthesis two rolled fingerprints using a baseline. CONSTITUTION: An offset value matched with a control point to a first rotation fingerprint frame is calculated(230). The first registration frame is generated by matching the second fingerprint frame to a first finger print frame. The control spot is moved as the offset value(240). A second baseline is established by connecting the moved control spot(250). A first synthesis frame and a first rolled finger print frame is synthesized using a second baseline(260).
