<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle plating sludge whose disposal such as landfill disposal is difficult until now and which is not reused, and to obtain a soft ferrite powder which cannot be made into a magnet but has performance to stick fast to a magnet from plating sludge by a simple treatment method. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a soft ferrite easy to pulverize comprises: optionally adding an iron compound to phosphorus compound-containing plating sludge; adding a calcium compound in an amount of 1-8 pts.mass (in terms of Ca) based on 100 pts.mass of dry sludge, mixing those; and firing at 900-1,300°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
