<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the occurrence of image quality degradation due to the periodicity of image data and the periodicity of variation of an image forming process. <P>SOLUTION: A printer controller 10 computes the periodicity of image data by an image data periodicity computing section 13, and obtains the periodicity of variation of the image forming process in a printer engine 20 from a process periodicity storage section 14. The printer controller 10 then computes an interference frequency from the periodicity of the image data and the periodicity of variation by an interference frequency computing section 15, and determines the occurrence of image quality degradation when an image is formed from the image data by a printer engine 20 based on the interference frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
