PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image capturing device capable of photographing with an input voltage range optimal to respective scenes. SOLUTION: The solid-state image capturing device 1 is provided with a plurality of pixels 11a arranged in a matrix, a plurality of vertical signal lines 13 provided so as to correspond to the columns of the pixels 11a, and a column amplifier circuit 14a provided for each of the plurality of vertical signal lines 13. The column amplifier circuit 14a includes an amplifier transistor NM5 for amplifying a signal from a corresponding vertical signal line 13 among the plurality of vertical signal lines 13, a first current source transistor PM1, and a second current source transistor PM2 cascode-connected to the first current source transistor PM1 and adapted to supply current to the amplifier transistor NM5. The solid-state image capturing device 1 is further provided with a switching unit 100 for switching to or from short circuit between the source and drain of the second current source transistor PM2.
