PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the workability of a mold member by splitting a mold body, in which a spherical cavity is formed, into three mold members. SOLUTION: The mold 10 for a glass spherical body to form the glass spherical body 36 has: a middle mold 16 constituting the center part of the spherical cavity 14 into which a glass material is filled; an upper mold 18 constituting one of both sides of the center part of the spherical cavity 14; and a lower mold 20 constituting another side of the center part of the spherical cavity 14.
