PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the mutual arrangement of right and left pedals according to a running state, without using a mechanical operating lever. SOLUTION: A bicycle includes a crankshaft 130 for applying rotational driving force by foot pressing force to wheels; right and left cranks 13R and 13L radially projecting from the crankshaft 130; a foot pressing force generating part having right and left pedals supported by the right and left cranks, and changing the position of the crank 13L with respect to the crankshaft 130; an electric motor 114 for applying the rotational driving force to the wheels; a brake to brake the rotation of the wheels; and a controller to control the foot pressing force generating part and the electric motor 114. The bicycle performs a first control for setting the right and left pedals in an oblique front and downward direction, and a second control for running at a certain running speed by controlling the electric motor 114.
