PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic columnar body which is not broken when colliding with a bicycle, a person, etc., which does not break the bicycle or injure the person in reverse, and which enables the visual recognition of the bicycle, the person, etc. passing near its installation place. SOLUTION: Since a mirror surface 2 is attached in a position to be depressed from the outside surface 11 of the columnar body 1, the risk of the collision of the bicycle and the person with the mirror surface 2 is kept low. Additionally, since the columnar body 1 has elasticity, the possibility of a breakage of the mirror surface 2 or an injury to the person can be reduced even if the bicycle or the person collides with the columnar body 1.
