PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor and the mounting structure of the reactor which is high in heat dissipation performance and can be reduced in size and weight. SOLUTION: The reactor 1 has a case-less structure constituted by covering the outer periphery of an assembly 1A with an outer resin 40, the assembly 1A composed of a coil 10 and an annual core 20 in which the coil 10 is placed. The coil 10 is a coil mold 1M which has a pair of coil elements arranged in parallel and connected with each other and whose outer periphery is covered with an inner resin 30. The core 20 has an inner core (wound portion) in which the coil 10 is placed and an exposed core (exposed portion) 24 which is exposed without the coil 10. At the side of the inner resin that is closer to the reactor 1, the inner resin 30 exposed from the outer resin 40, a recess 30c is formed at a spot that covers a spot between both coil elements. On a mounting face of a cooling base to which the reactor 1 is mounted, a projection is formed which is engaged with the recess 30c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
