<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen scavenger for a refrigerator showing excellent deoxidation effect at low temp. and capable of being simply regenerated by immersing the same in hot water, by laminating a second layer and a third layer comprising specific substances to a perforated nickel plate to which water repellent treatment was applied. CONSTITUTION:Water repellent treatment is applied to a sintered perforated nickel plate by using polytetrafluoroethylene. Next, a mixture consisting alcohol and an aqueous suspension containing bis(salicylaldehyde)ethylenediimine cobalt (II) or a derivative thereof being a deoxidation agent and polytetrafluoroethylene is applied to the single surface of said treated nickel plate to be dried under vacuum. Subsequently, an aqueous suspension of a tetrafluoroethylene/ hexafluoropropylene copolymer is sprayed to the nickel plate and dried to be laminated thereto and a porous polytetrafluoroethylene film (void ratio; 60%) is placed thereon and subjected to heat treatment under pressure to obtain an oxygen scavenger having a three-layered structure.</p> |
