PURPOSE: A washing machine diagnostic system and a method thereof are provided to diagnose a door part of the washing machine by checking the state of the washing machine with a sound signal from the washing machine. CONSTITUTION: A diagnosis server decides whether the error code is about a door part of the washing machine or not. If the error code is the door part error, the diagnosis server uses diagnosis data related to the door part using a plurality of diagnosis data included in the product information to the operation of the door part. The origin of the failure is decided. The diagnosis server diagnoses the malfunction about the washing machine(S360). The diagnosis server outputs a solution corresponding to the failure cause of the door part error(S370).
