PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for reinforcing a building, which enables the building to be reinforced in a short period of time by simple construction work, while obtaining a sufficient reinforcing effect. SOLUTION: A specific side surface of a column 1 with a quadrangular cross section is enclosed with an enclosure steel plate 7 for the column in such a manner as to maintain a predetermined interval. In a portion where the column 1 and a beam 6 cross each other, a surface of the column 1 and a surface of the beam 6 continuing into the column are enclosed with an enclosure steel plate 8 for the crossing portion, in which the enclosure steel plate for the column is integrally provided with an elongated portion for the beam, in such a manner as to maintain a predetermined interval; the enclosure steel plates 7 and 8 are arranged on the side of the same side surface of the specific column 1; the column 1 and the beam 6 are integrally surrounded by injecting a grout material 4 between the enclosure steel plates 7 and 8 and the surface of the column 1 and that of the beam 6; and a plurality of axial bars 5 in the axial direction of the column 1 are arranged in the grout material 4.
