PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve effective performance by stabilizing an inner flow of a sleeve type air intake flow passage of a blowing device including an air blow-out passage in the diagonal flow centrifugal direction arranged at an outer circumference of an impeller of a centrifugal fan and a sleeve type air intake flow passage, extending a perpendicular direction of a rotary shaft of the impeller of the centrifugal fan and having an opening arranged to enclose an air intake port of the impeller of the centrifugal fan. SOLUTION: In this blowing device 1, the sleeve type air intake flow passage has a guide wall 18 of a predetermined height extending in the longitudinal direction of the air intake flow passage corresponding to a substantial center of the air intake port of the centrifugal fan impeller 21. By the air flow guide action of the guide wall, a stable swirl flow is formed around the air intake port of the centrifugal fan impeller over a wide range from the upstream to downstream of the air intake flow passage. Thus, air volume-pressure characteristics are improved, noise can be reduced and shaft power can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
