PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high image quality of a printing image and speed-up by improving a striking accuracy of an ink liquid droplet by enhancing a straightforwardness in an ejection direction of the ink liquid droplet including not only a main droplet, but satellite also in the ink liquid droplet of a minute amount to a request of a higher image quality and speed-up. SOLUTION: An ejection opening width is made narrower than an electrothermal conversion element width in a nozzle array direction, a pressure chamber wall is separated from an ejection opening edge by a fixed or larger distance, and a pressure chamber width is made large only in a region that includes at least the ejection opening part. Thereby the straightforwardness in the ejection direction of the ink liquid droplet including not only the main droplet, but also satellite can be surely and exactly enhanced.
