PURPOSE:To allow movement along a wall surface inclined at an arbitral angle, by providing a fluid injection device such as a jet engine in a body of a self- travelling moving mechanism, and urging the body against the wall surface by a thrust generated upon injecting of a fluid. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 having plural moving blades 4, 6, 8, 9 and 11 is rotatably accommodated in a casing 1. Guide blades 3 and stationary blades 5, 7 and 10 are fixed on the inside surface of the casing 1. Air sucked through the guide blades 3 is compressed between the guide blades 3 and the moving blades 8 by the rotation of the rotor 2. fuel in a fuel tank 12 is supplied by a pump 13, and is injected from a nozzle 14 into the air under high temperature and high pressure to thereby burn the fuel and generate a high-pressure combustion gas. Then, the rotor 2 is rotated by the combustion gas, which is in turn injected out of the casing 1, thereby generating a thrust and urging a body 20 of a moving mechanism. the body 20 is travelled by the rotation of wheels 22 driven by a motor 24. |
