A pre-coding processing method, codebook set and base station are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The pre-coding processing method includes the following steps: acquiring the uplink total power of a user equipment (UE); when the uplink total power is more than three-quarter of the total rated transmission power of an antenna, selecting a codeword from the first codebook set whose inter-layer power is uneven, otherwise, selecting a codeword from the first codebook set or the second codebook set whose inter-layer power is even, so as to perform pre-coding processing for the data which needs to be transmitted according to the selected codeword. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce performance loss of an antenna with a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and reduce power amplifier loss of an antenna when the transmission power of the antenna is restricted. |
