PURPOSE:To enable the slip of a drive wheel to be controlled to the optimum condition at the forward and backward travelling of a vehicle respectively by controlling the operation of an actuator of an anti-slip device with control signals at levels differing in the forward and backward travelling. CONSTITUTION:The above-captioned device has an actuator A for baking front wheels W1, W2 by the use of a portion of a hydraulic brake device. said actua tor A is constituted from hydraulically operated devices 40A, 40B, solenoid valves 50A, 50B and a power supply 60 and, together with an anti-skid device comprising hydraulically operated devices 70A-70D and solenoid valves 80a-80C, controlled by a microcomputer 20. Then, the microcomputer 20 is constituted to determine values differing in the receding and non-receding condi tion of a vehicle by a recession detector 25 from the outputs of respective wheel speed detectors 21-24 when calculated value of rotational frequency difference between drive and driven wheels exceeds a set value, and generate the control signal output at level corresponding to the determined value. |
