The valve has an armature (9) adjustably arranged in a pot-shaped bushing (6), and a tappet (12) secured against rotation at a longitudinal axis (20). Shut-off bodies are arranged at another end of the tappet and secured against a valve seat (17). A tappet end area turned away from the seat in an interior of the bushing projects through a passage opening in a base (7) of the bushing to the armature. An area of the tappet projecting through the opening exhibits a tappet area (22) that is rotationally asymmetrical to the axis. The tappet area is in contact with an edge contour of the opening.
