PURPOSE: A cable broadcasting communications service, a hybrid set top box for cable broadcasting communications, and recording medium recording middleware are provided to other channel broadcasting in the back ground. CONSTITUTION: A tuner unit(320) includes a plurality of tuners(321,322,323,324). A demodulation unit(330) demodulates the cable broadcasting signal through the tuner. A cable modem(340) changes a cable data signal through the tuner into the IP(Internet Protocol) packet. The control unit(350) processes the cable broadcasting signal through the demodulation unit or the cable modem or the cable data signal. The video reproduction apparatus indicates the cable broadcasting signal or the cable data signal.
