<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas diffusion electrode and its manufacturing method having superior gas diffusion properties through a porous film, thereby maintaining superb cell characteristics, and being capable of uniform gas permeation with little pressure loss, as well as, capable of uniformly supplying hydrogen gas and oxygen gas to a catalyst layer. <P>SOLUTION: The gas diffusion electrode for a solid polymer fuel cell made by laminating two or more layers of conductive non-woven fabric has different average fiber diameters in the conductive non-woven fabric at a topmost layer and that at a lowermost layer. Furthermore, such a gas diffusion electrode can be obtained by having fiber slurries flow out of a first flow box on a slant running part of a paper-making net running upward aslant, and having fiber slurries flow out of a second flow box with its lower part located near a crossing part of a waterline in the first flow box and the slant running part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
