<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a luminaire capable of suppressing the temperature rise of the base of a fluorescent lamp having a spirally whirled tubular discharge path. <P>SOLUTION: Lamp supporting springs 18 for holding the fluorescent lamp 20 hold a pair of bases 23 each provided at both ends of an arc tube 22 in which the tubular discharge path is spirally whirled. Thereby, heat of the bases 23 heated by a filament 25 is released to a luminaire body 12 through the lamp supporting springs 18, and the temperature rise of the bases 23 is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
