<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, information processing method, program and information processing system attaining improvement of convenience related to playback of content data, on which playback restriction has been imposed, included in a broadcasting signal. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a receiving section for receiving a broadcasting signal including content data, on which playback restriction has been imposed, and encrypted release information; a first communication section capable of performing non-contact communication with an information processing terminal storing electronic value; a second communication section capable of performing communication with an external device over a network; an information storage section for storing information relating to restriction release; a restriction-release determination section for determining whether or not the playback restriction imposed on the broadcasting signal can be released based on the release information included in the broadcasting signal and the information relating to the restriction release; and a purchase processing section for selectively performing first settlement processing which is based on the communication between the information processing terminal and the external device or processing relating to purchase of contents using second settlement processing which is based on a playback history, on the basis of a result of the determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
