<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light unit made slim and a display device equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light unit includes a light guide plate of which on one surface a plurality of grooves are formed; a plurality of light guide members which are respectively installed extending in the length direction of the grooves on individual grooves and are adhered to the surface of the light guide plate which forms at least partially the grooves; and one or more light-emitting diodes which irradiate light into the light guide plate through the light guide members and are installed with respect to each of the plurality of grooves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
