PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient character input operation method which allows correct character input immediately, even when an input error occurs in sequentially changing an input character by the number of operations of one key, such as character input of a cellular phone. SOLUTION: Even after sequentially changing an input character by the number of operations and then changing the state of the input character to a character with a voiced sound symbol or a semivoiced sound symbol added thereto, the next voiced sound symbol character or semivoiced sound symbol character can be input instead of the changed character, i.e. while maintaining the voiced sound symbol or the semivoiced sound symbol, so that there is no need to redo character input.
