PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably drive a vehicle from its current position to a predetermined position in an automatic way. SOLUTION: The drive support apparatus includes a virtual moving process means for virtually moving a vehicle from a reference point and placing the vehicle in a virtual movement point set at the tip of each route pattern; a reference point updating process means for setting each virtual movement point as a new reference point; a moveability requirement determining process means for determining whether or not moveability requirements for virtually moving the vehicle to a desired position may be met at each virtual movement point; a route generation determining process means for determining that a route can be generated if the moveability requirements are met; and a route pattern changing process means for changing the route pattern if the moveability requirements are not met.
